A lot of Casio's EX series of camera's can record video at 1280x720x24 fps (720p) but the EX-S5 cannot. The max resolution for the S5 is 848x480x30fps. The details on Amazon's listing are incorrect. Because there are camera's in this price range that do record 720p video, I'll be returning this sweet little number and getting one of those instead.

I used this camera for work. I put the pictures into reports and need to have smaller picture sizes; so i use the 2M/Normal setting which gets me roughly a 120k picture per shot. I have had to purchase a different camera because this one does a terrible job in anything other than a very bright setting. The low(or moderate) light level pictures are all too dark and are almost unusable. I have found that by changing the EV setting to +1.3, it will brighten the pictures, but you need to reset this value everytime you turn the camera back on, so it's pretty painful if you turn the camera on and off often, like i do. I realize this camera is priced fairly reasonable, but i believe you can find a better camera for the money.

In all my household has owned 4 Casio cameras and this was the cheapest put together one I have seen. I will say when I recieved it the screen would not turn on. The cover for the battery and SD card is made of thin plastic. I don't like this because i have had then crack on other brand cameras before. Also, the shinny exterior shows fingerprints badly and is very easy to scratch. I returned it to Amazon and their return process was very easy and convinent.

The item has been shiped fast, transaction smooth and nice, satisfied with the item. The only thing is that I don't like the disign of the phone and the usage of it, I like silver one over the black.

I've been a Motorola fan since early 90's (remeber the brick), I've tried for days ericsson ~ nokia and I feel out of place. So I know when I'm talking Moto.

There's a phrase that surmises the V3 "It makes me feel all warm inside" Motorola hit a grand slam with this baby...

Thin, sleek, functional, wow! I really look forward to newer and better devices in the future.

There's still hope for Shaumburg!!!! Way to go Zander & Garriques!!!

The phone that I purchase is great. It met all of the expectations of the razor phone. BUT, the product description was misleading. It said that it was "Unlocked for use with your existing GSM 850 MHz, GSM 1800 MHz, GSM 900 MHz or GSM 1900 MHz service provider" To the untrained purchaser(me) I "assumed" (you know what happens when you assume!) that it was good for ANY service provider. My son tried to use it with his Verizon account and was unable to get it hooked up. At the very least, I think that the seller should have had a link (Like the one he sent me when I tried to return it!) to explain which providers it was good for. The seller was very shady in his presentation of the product. But if you have one of the GSM providers the phone is wonderful!

This was my first network camera to set up surveillance at my home/shop area. DUring the day time the picture is great. At night, I had to help it a little by installing a dual flood quartz security light system about 3 feet from it. This combination works pretty well. The security light is motion activated and brightly lights up the area where the camera is focused.

The PTZ features aren't something I feel I need, so the price is right on this camera. The power injector is included which is a nice touch, and it was easy to install. Very nice, neat mounting stand. Well designed, and just a great overall camera. I recommend it highly.
